OUR LASER TECHNOLOGY
Tattoo Bill's Tattoo Removal is the only clinic in the Southeast that utilizes two technologies to ensure your tattoo removal process is as effective as possible.
Using the advanced PicoSure and MedLite C6 (Q-Switched) laser technology, Tattoo Bill's Tattoo Removal can provide maximum tattoo removal results without harming or scarring the surrounding skin.
PicoSure is the world's first picosecond laser and the only advanced tattoo removal laser with PressureWave™ technology, which works with your body to remove unwanted ink. PicoSure delivers laser energy that specifically targets tattoo ink, resulting in the successful shattering of just the ink particles without harming the surrounding tissue. PressureWave™ is the secret behind tattoo treatments with PicoSure.
PicoSure works effectively on
The MedLite C6 (Q-Switched) laser is a multi-wavelength system which provides the consistent results that practitioners worldwide depend on and trust. Measured wavelengths of light pass into the targeted dermal ink. The light is quickly absorbed, and the laser’s light energy breaks the tattoo into tiny particles. Overtime, these particles are eliminated by the body’s natural filtering systems. The Medlite C6 (Q-Switched) laser is effective at removing black, red, brown, orange and purple tattoo pigment.
Yes! Our laser technology can successfully treat all skin types and tattoo pigments. Contact us online or during our business hours to set up a no-obligation consultation.
Since every patient and tattoo is unique, our Certified Laser Specialist will use the following factors to estimate the number of treatments needed to achieve your desired tattoo removal goals: age of tattoo, size of tattoo, color of tattoo, location of tattoo, density of ink, pre-existing scarring and overall patient health.
Tattoo removal appointments are scheduled at a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks apart. We want to allow your skin to heal before the next tattoo removal treatment. This waiting period is for your safety. Receiving another treatment prematurely can increase side effects and pigment changes.
Laser Tattoo removal can be uncomfortable. Each patient has a different pain threshold so your level of pain may vary. Patients often describe the treatment feeling like a rubber band being snapped against the skin at a rapid pace.
On the bright side, laser tattoo removal treatments are quick! Generally speaking, a laser tattoo removal appointment will last no longer than 5 minutes.
To minimize the pain and alleviate any worry you may experience, we use a Zimmer cooling device during your treatment.
Patients may experience minor side effects such as pigmentation changes, swelling, redness, blistering and scabbing. This indicates that your body is healing and removing the ink from your skin. We urge you from picking scabs or popping the blisters that may arise.
Absolutely! For optimal fading, you may only need a couple treatments. This will give your tattoo artist a cleaner canvas and allow for flexibility with their design.
