Tyler is a versatile artist from Lincolnton, North Carolina. While attending North Carolina A&T, he became a self-taught graphic designer. He eventually found himself doing more art than homework. In 2020, he started his journey as a tattoo artist. Every day, his goal is to progress. He’s comfortable with color or black and grey tattoos. After 24 hours have passed since your appointment, you can begin by carefully removing the first bandage. Start by peeling up a corner and then gently stretching the bandage like a command strip to minimize discomfort. Once it's off, wash away any blood, plasma, and excess ink using cold water. Next, apply the extra bandage provided. To do this, peel off the white backing and place the bandage over the tattoo, pressing from the center outward to eliminate air bubbles. Look for the yellow-orange arrows on the top layer—press down and separate them to remove that layer. After six days, you can remove the second bandage, then wash the area with warm water and antibacterial soap before gently patting it dry. Finally, begin moisturizing the tattoo with a very thin layer of Aquaphor. This should be done up to twice a day for the next 30 days to keep the tattoo properly hydrated and promote healing.
